Access to such a large database which is a database of address and other information about the world of amateur stations is limited. Is restricted due to limited bandwidth access and access policy used by webmasters server We must be aware of these limitations.
Database of amateur stations from lookup server contains the following data for amateur stations:
1. Station callsign
2. Name the station operator
3 .Adres station in 2 lines
4 .QTH only for a server HAMQTH.COM
5. Name of the country in which the station is
6. E-mail - available only when the mouse moves over the field of e-mail. This is a protection against downloading an address in an automatic way by the programs-robots, and then to send spam advertising of these stations . For a server HAMQTH.COM is possible to obtain this address automatically
7. Photo station operator that loaded the amateur station.
8. Viewed a number of times the station data - so Lookups
2 nd Block - Biography Description stations .
1. Biographical description how loaded the station operator
3. Blok Detail
| 1. | Callsign station administrating data station - it's the beginning station callsign that this data is introduced and next callsign station when this station has established an account at QRZ.COM . |
| 2. | Date the last update data of the station |
| 3. | Latitude - latitude station |
| 5. | Grid Locator Square station in the form of 6 character like JO90hg |
| 6. | U.S. State - State - for the U.S. or Canada |
| 7. | US County - County to the U.S. or Canada |
| 9. | Field QSL_Info - QSL_Via how to send QSL card. It is the most important field in the data about the station. This field should contain only the following information: |
This field is manually entered by user on QRZ.COM , however, and therefore includes many incorrect and inconsistencies in the data. Therefore, this field is not directly suitable for inclusion in the QSL card. Members loggers postulated many times that the loggers programs solve this problem . My program BUREAU_ALL_QRZ_COM program solves this problem by correcting the field QSL_Via described in the chapter. Corrected value of this field is enter to the field QSL_Via Logger32 giving directly to the place it on the QSL card
10. QSL box by Mail? (Traditional)-Contains the word Yes - if you can send QSL card via the traditional - ie direct. If it contains the word No then this route of transmission is not available for some local reason
11. Field to eQSL QSL? may contain the word Yes or No
12 .Field Use LOTW ? may contain the word Yes if the station is registered in LOTW or No if the station does not use LOTW . It should be noted that the field of 10 to 12 may be blank if the user has not chosen these fields
13 . Other Callsigns - other callsign that have a station or have had in the past
14 . Map of the location of the station to the selected position .
Discussed above, if the fields are provided in standard ADIF fields is transfer to the fields currently being conducted QSO. These fields need not even be selected in the window OPERATOR - the main window of data entry. For this to be aware that such fields such as ZIP. Old Call, Web Page, QSL fields by (three boxes) do not fall for to a Logger32, because there are not provided
Collecting data by selecting the station:
| • | when you click on the callsign stations on the spot, ie bandmap's or DX Spot Map or in the DX-Spots window when you click on the sign in the window, |
| • | when you click on the callsign stations on the receiving station in a digital emissions window |
![]() |
| Window for set parametr for begin lookup server in a manually entered callsign |
![]() |
| Window indicating the need press the TAB or ESC or SPACE or click mouse after completing the callsign |
| • | After the initial introduction of the prefix and selecting it from the drop down menu with the mouse from list of station had already been do previously QSO |
Description of the process of downloading data
| • | Why do I want to give users the knowledge on the subject. Apparently you are not interested in such knowledge. It turns out that this knowledge will help in taking action when there are problems with downloading this data, or a long wait for the data. |
| • | As I said above, the fastest is downloading data from QRZ.COM in XML format - it has the highest priority at QRZ.COM. However, this is a paid service. |
| • | QRZ.COM server use designated by the webmasters themselves policy priorities. Since for the program is not a problem to determine which browser is using by a computer that gets its web page. I noticed that the prosecution through a browser such as Firefox data from the qrz.com appear much earlier than for those mini-browser built on a ready-made components of the WebBrowser. |
| • | In this case, as above we should check whether we have the Internet - for example in the DOS window (cmd) issue the command |
Ping wp.pl
pinging qrz.com the server does not make sense - because the service is disabled on the server qrz.com
